Three teens arrested hours after Valley burglary | Crime
LEE COUNTY, AL - Three teens were arrested early Sunday morning for a burglary from the previous day.
Kendell Evans, age 18, Melvin Henson, age 18, and William Reaves, age 19, all from Beulah, are charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property. They were arrested around 2 a.m. on Dec. 16.
Evans and Henson are currently being held in the Lee County Detention Facility on a $6,000 bond and Reaves was released later that same night after posting a $6000 bond.
The charges come from a burglary on Dec. 15 around 7:19 p.m. Lee County Sheriff's office responded to a home on Lee Rd. 656 in Valley.
The homeowner reported somone broke into their home and stole a computer, flat screen TV, a cordless drill, several knives, bottles of wine, and cash.
The victim estimated the total value of the property reported stolen from their home was approximately $1,000.
Shortly after the report was filed, a Lee County Deputy Sheriff received information of a possible location of the victim's stolen property.
Deputy Sheriffs and investigators were able to locate evidence linking Evans, Henson and Reaves to the burglary and theft reported by this victim.
